<overflow> is an album that revolves around the programming term "Buffer Overflow," which refers to a phenomenon where exceeding the capacity of a buffer causes data corruption, making the outcome unpredictable. The album contains eight tracks, each based on various subtopics I have sketched over a long period.
"canvases are human" is a track inspired by the themes of my 2018 essay "GRE: Support Fashion for Frame Humans."
"authentic quarantine" was created during my mandatory two-week quarantine at an Airbnb after returning from a working holiday in 2020.
"curry" is a track based on a happening at a restaurant near my school, where I ordered chicken curry, which came mixed with vegetable curry. It says "This ain't just curry; it's a phenomenon."
"teenage love" exaggerates the simple feeling of not wanting to go to school by framing it as if it were all because of love. The lyrics began with the first line I wrote in 2016 using Vocaloid: 'Hey, let's go to school.'
"flower card" is a track themed around the Korean card game Go-Stop, where the results are unpredictable, but one must take risks anyway to win more.
"sophia" imagines a dystopian love triangle where AI takes away human love.
"sunnei176" portrays a scenario in which I ask my friend to pick me up at the airport with the car—one she received from her family and that looked like it belonged to a nouveau riche—because I wore Sunnei to counter my bad mood.
"being unwelcome" is based on experiences of feeling unwelcome as a foreigner, especially in recent times.
<overflow>는 담을 수 있는 그릇의 총량을 초과하면 이후의 데이터가 변조되어 결과값을 예측할 수 없게 되는 현상인 프로그래밍 용어 "Buffer Overflow"를 주제로, 오랜 기간 동안 스케치했던 크고 작은 여덟 트랙을 담았습니다.

"curry"는 학교 앞 식당에서 치킨커리를 시켰는데 야채커리가 섞여 나온 경험을 바탕으로, "이건 단순한 커리가 아니라 현상이다."라고 이야기하는 트랙입니다.
"teenage love"는 단순히 학교에 가기 싫다는 이야기를, 사랑 때문에 가지 않는다고 비약적으로 포장한 트랙입니다. 2016년 보컬로이드로 만든 멜로디라인과 가사 '나경아 학교가자'로부터 시작했습니다.
"flower card"는 결과를 예측할 수 없지만, 더 높은 수익을 위해 일단 위험을 감수하는 고스톱 게임을 주제로 한 트랙입니다.
"sophia"는 끝내 AI에게 사랑을 빼앗기게 되는 디스토피아적 사랑과 삼각관계를 상상하며 만든 트랙입니다.
"sunnei176"은 기분이 좋지 않아 써네이(Sunnei)를 입었으니, 가족에게 받은 '졸부처럼 보이는 차'를 끌고 공항으로 마중 나오라고 친구에게 말하는 상황을 담은 트랙입니다.
